OCR: Multilayer Multilayer on the View menu lets you control whether you can select elements on all visible layers or on just the current drawing layer When checkmark appears next "Multilayer" on View menu, you can select elements on any visible layer. When n checkmark appears, you can see elements on all visible layers bui you can select elements only on the current (highlighted) drawing layer. To turn Multilayer on or off: Press the Tab key to deselect all selected elements Choose "Multilayer" from the View menu Turning off the "Multilayer" command helps you isolate elements So that you can work on them more closely without accidentally moving other elements You can also control element selection b choosing "Multilayer" from the "Layers palette submenu Keyboard shortcut: Command Multilaver
